About Me

I’m bold, creative, and inquisitive. I never met a fact or expert that I did not say, “prove it.” Meaning I drove my parents, teachers, and college professors crazy. At heart I consider myself a storyteller and truth seeker.

Hello!!

The Polymath term is the perfect description for Kiara Ashanti. An insanely curious nature has lead him to knowledge in wide ranging topic areas: finance, politics, marketing, journalism, photography, history, and economics to name a few. He spent fifteen years in the financial industry as an adviser and trader. Ten years in he started writing for magazines, websites, and journals. Any place he could find to write about the things in life curious to him, or life affecting he put pen to paper.

My Story

He has written a 100+ articles in the areas of finance, trading, business, travel, and politics. When it comes to reporting, commentating, or researching an issue,Truth is the only item that matters. That is Kiara’s guiding principle in his writing. He has released four books; “American’s First Feast,” “Commander-in-Failure,” “Natural Born Conservative,” and New Release “Things I Wish I Knew in College.”

Projects

For me the beginning of a project, usually starts with a question. Usually questions no one else has asked. My articles, interviews, research, and books are designed to answer the question pinging away in my head.

America’s First Thanksgiving.

Everyone loves a good Thanksgiving dinner. Roasted turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie, highlights of the American holiday.

But have you ever asked, “What did the Pilgrims and Indians eat at that very first Thanksgiving celebration?”

Kiara Ashanti asked the question and set out on a personal quest to find out the answer and recreate the menu.

It’s All About Intent

Why bother trying to go beyond learning about a subject? Why engage in the thing that you are writing about? One, reason would be to gain a better understanding of the subject material. The other would be in order write or report with an authentic voice. Both are good reasons. A better one, at least in this case, is because it was fun. America’s First Feast is not just a book, its a retelling of an awesome life experience. One that taught me a better understanding of the Truth behind Thanksgiving.

That should be the intent of all personal projects in life; be they books, speeches, acting, or music. Immerse yourself, have funm but learn the Truth underlying the subject, and the share it with the world. Kiara pursed that Truth in America’s First Feast, and does so as well in his other projects: The Trump Podcast and Pathways of Opportunity
